Kat Robin Art: A World of Colour and Creativity
Welcome to my art portfolio, a journey through diverse mediums and heartfelt creations. Here, you'll discover a collection that embodies my passion for painting and mixed media, each piece telling its own unique story.
Mixed Media Wildlife Pictures
These artworks are designed to evoke feelings of wonder and connection with nature, bringing the vibrant spirit of animals to life through unique artistic techniques.
The Intricate Art of Collage
I craft these pieces using a careful selection of torn fragments from discarded alcohol ink on Yupo paper, combined with various craft papers, ink drawing, and thoughtfully placed collaged embellishments. This layered approach creates depth and texture, making each artwork a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
A Touch of Sparkle and Shimmer
To add an extra dimension of enchantment, some of my pieces are enhanced with delicate mica powders and/or metallic nail art papers. These elements introduce a subtle yet captivating sparkle, bringing a magical shimmer to the artwork. This special touch ensures that each piece not only captivates the eye but also creates a lasting impression.

They all measure 17 cm square and are mounted in complementary card and coloured frames. More images and info can be sent on request.
Gelli Plate Prints
These pictures were created by first creating an interesting patterned gelli plate print, then working the image over the top in black ink. I have added metallic powders to give a soft shimmer. These pictures also measure 17 cm square and are mounted in black card and framed in a grey wood effect frame. More images and info can be sent on request.
Alcohol Ink and Mixed Media Work
These are larger framed artworks created using alcohol inks on Yupo Paper with the addition of other inks, mica powders, acrylic paint and occasional collage elements. They measure approximately 41 x 29 cm (the visible image), mounted in a complementary coloured card and framed in a narrow A3 sized wooden frame. More images and info can be sent on request.
